ABOUT

KEVIN ARROW: AMBIENT WORK

Ambient Work investigates balance, form, and perception through hand-cut paper studies and painted wood panels. Using humble materials—paper, scissors, glue, and paper Arrow builds layered compositions guided by sacred geometry, color, and intuitive structure informed by plants and flowers.

Kevin Arrow [b. 1962 Mineola, New York Lives and works in Miami Beach, Florida.] Largely self-taught, Arrow has been active in the South Florida art community since the mid-1980s. His multidisciplinary practice spans drawing, collage, painting, film, and audio-based projects, merging interests in obsolete media, archival tendencies, sacred geometry, humor, and the ephemeral object. His work investigates the fluid interchange between the mundane and the sublime.

Selected solo exhibitions include "Steal Your Face" (2024, [NAME] Publications, Miami, Florida) and "BridgeRed Flag" (2025, Bridge Red Studios, North Miami, Florida). Group exhibitions include "Healing Nature"(2022, Oolite Arts, Miami Beach, Florida), "In Spiritual Light" (2023, Mindy Solomon Gallery, Miami, Florida), and the A.I.M. Biennial (2023, Miami, Florida).

Arrow received the South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant (2017), Oolite Ellie Award (2018), and a Cannonball Wavemaker Grant (2015) His work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami, Perez Art Museum Miami, The BASS Museum of Art, Miami-Dade Art in Public Places and the University of Miami Special Collections.

RALPH PROVISERO: NOTEABLE

About NOTEABLE, Provisero says, "Adhesive notes have become a means for me to express ideas or make quick sketches. Whether a reminder, a design, or note for a student, these non-committal scraps of paper soon began to fill my sketchbooks and reveal their compositional potential. NOTEABLEis a collection of these small drawings and studies, refined and pushed to their limits, organized in the 5x5 grid format. Each grid is composed of a survey of sculptural studies, architectural observations, ideas, words and phrases usually arranged somewhat chronologically, with other references leading to memory, pop culture, history or any other interesting object or subject that may cross the conscious path."

Ralph Provisero is a contemporary American artist and educator whose works have been exhibited in museums, galleries and public spaces in North America and Europe, and as part of noteworthy collections some of which include the Martin Z. Margulies Collection, the University of Miami's Lowe Art Museum, the Deering Estate and Miami-Dade County Public Schools. He has taught at New World School of the Arts, Florida International University, Miami Dade College, and the University of Miami. He has also served as a visiting artist at Kansas City Art Institute and Washington University in St. Louis. He has received the Atlantic Center for the Arts/Joan Mitchell Foundation Scholarship for Visual Artists in Residence. Provisero received an MFA from the University of Miami School of Art and Art History in 2011 and a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute in 1995. He lives and works in Miami.
