Barron Sherer: New Works is a suite of new motion picture-based work for 16mm, digital projection, analog monitors, and 35mm slides. All feature arrangements of Miami urban settings using the artist's contemporarily produced 16mm film elements. Sherer is a media artist with a background in moving image archival practice, and his training has influenced the methods and conceptual frameworks he uses in artmaking. Bridge Red presents these works in a gallery installation context for the first time.
