ABOUT
"CiRCA" is discovered in the future — It's a blurring of FACT and FICTION. Like Speculative Fiction, it doesn't exist in reality – but emerges here to protect and preserve. (MIAMI 2250) BREAKING NEWS: An archeological complex has emerged around Biscayne Bay after the great floods recede. The enormous dwelling harkens back through the ages... resembling cairns, grottos, spiritual places. It's unexplainable and enigmatic – there are no records suggesting who, why, or when it was created.
A timeline exists within the structure in the form of balled up "papier-mâché rocks" from 2020 newspapers: "The Miami Herald", "The Sun-Sentinel" and "The New York Times." It is an interactive space. Many objects are scattered throughout. A hidden grotto offers seating and nature sounds are discernible. This "unique and mysterious archeological discovery" has endured the plague of 2020, the rising sea levels and the carnage of climate change. Hidden from sight only to emerge again in human consciousness. The relics of the past transcending into the future.
