Stephan Tugrul (3PQ)
Stephan Tugrul is a mixed media artist at Bridge Red Studios in North Miami, Florida. Working primarily in collage, Tugrul appropriates, repurposes and redefines popular imagery from various sources in dynamic juxtapositions that burst forth toward the viewer while maintaining the power of each meticulously positioned fragment within. Stephan is a key member of the 3PQ collaborative along with Freddy Jouwayed and Sinisa Kukec.
Freddy Jouwayed (3PQ)
Freddy Jouwayed earned a BFA in Painting from the University of Miami in 1997. Venezuelan born Jouwayed exhibits primarily in South Florida galleries and institutions. An exhibition designer and curator, Jouwayed is also a founding member of the Miami based collaborative group 3PQ, along with Stephan Tugrul and Sinisa Kukec.
Sinisa Kukec (3PQ)
Sinisa Kukec was born in Zagreb, Croatia, in 1970, but was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He has received the Canada Council for the Arts Emerging Artist Grant and The Evelyn Shapiro Foundation Fellowship for The Clay Studio in Philadelphia. Articles about his work have been published in The Art Economist, Trans Ceramics Art and The Palm Beach Times. Kukec is also a founding member of the Miami based collaborative group 3PQ, along with Stephan Tugrul and Freddy Jouwayed. Kukec currently works and lives in a warehouse in Miami, FL.
